I so enjoyed this, thank you! It caught my eye as my sister is Kate but she’s younger. Our mom passed last February and I know we view it differently for many reasons. I would carve and spray paint the word Mom where her ashes are but I want to let her go as just herself; a strong woman. And her ashes are atop her fathers grave and next to her mother and oldest brother so really daughter is also how I think to let her go (a work in progress 🥹)
I wonder if that viewpoint depends upon how old you are as a child when they pass?
