Asking for Support
Last Day to Contribute!
I should have done this sooner, but please consider donating today!!
I’m running a 5K this Saturday to raise money for a cause that is super important to me: Comfort Zone Camp. CZC embodies the whole purpose of this newsletter and the podcast “Are We There Yet,” which are devoted to expanding conversations about grief. If you come here often, you know I’m particularly invested in helping people understand the importance of addressing childhood and adolescent grief, and that’s exactly what CZC does. It’s a camp for grieving kids that focuses on helping kids support each other, which is one of the most healing things possible for kids who’ve lost a close family member. I’ve been volunteering with CZC for a couple of years, and it’s just an amazing organization. It’s free, so kids from all kinds of backgrounds have the chance to enjoy a really fun getaway weekend while feeling supported and understood by their peers.
(If you want to read more about why I love this camp so much, check out my post from a couple of years ago about it here)
Please click the link below and donate a few bucks if you can to help me reach my goal and help a child experience the life-changing support of this wonderful camp!
Thank you!!!!!
